Maria Montessori School (MMS) is located in the Circle Drive Alliance Church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Our school offers all children a respectful and stimulating Montessori learning environment that allows them to realize their unique, individual potential and prepares them for life-long learning.

MMS offers both half and full day Pre-school programs and a full day Kindergarten program. MMS is the ONLY Montessori school in Saskatoon offering a full Elementary program with both Lower Elementary (grades 1-3) and Upper Elementary (grades 4-8).

MMS is affiliated with the North American Montessori Teachers' Association (NAMTA) and member of International Montessori Council (IMC). MMS upholds that all our educators become credentialed with an International Montessori Teaching Diploma to ensure program integrity so your child receives authentic Montessori education.

Maria Montessori Preschool and Elementary, Inc. is an independent school registered under The Education Act, a registered charity and a non-profit corporation.

March 18, 2010 | SHOWCASE SUCCESS!!!

A great time was had by all at the 2nd Annual Maria Montessori School Showcase. All of our students presented their Montessori Materials with such poise and confidence for all to observe. The social gathering atmosphere was wonderful. Congratulations to our successful bidders in our silent auction. Thank you's to D'reen's Catering for the always yummy food, parent volunteers, MMS staff and students for making the evening run so well. Special thanks to all parents and extended family for coming to support your MMS superstar.

March 11, 2010 | SHOWCASE MARCH 18, 7pm

We are pleased to have our 2nd Annual Showcase 2010! This takes place MARCH 18th from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The evening will consist of demonstrations of Montessori activities and artistic talents. A social will follow. An invitation to families has gone out in all student's mailboxes. Don't forget to ask the Grandparents to attend! Please remember that students must gather in their classrooms by 6:45 pm. Parents will gather for refreshments in the large cubby by the office.

February 12, 2010 | TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

This will occur in conjunction with Montessori Education Week, February 22-26 which is after the winter break.

February 5, 2010 | GUEST TO SPEAK - OLYMPICS

MMS has invited someone to talk about Olympics. This is to take place Friday, February 12th. Elementary students will have their presentation at 10:30 am and Casa students will have theirs at 11:00 am. This will take place in the big cubby.

January 30, 2010 | MONTESSORI EDUCATION WEEK

This will take place from February 22-26, 2010. Watch for Dr. Montessori to make a guest appearance!

January 24, 2010 | ENRICHMENT, After School Drama

This started the week of January 18th with Miss Maria and Miss Marie. There will be two different age appropriate programs offered each to Casa and Elementary. We hope to create wonderful performers.

This started with Miss Marsha on January 18th. Due to overwhelming response to registration, there are two classes being offered on two different days which are both full. We hope to create inspiring artists.
