Maria Montessori School (MMS) is located in the Circle Drive Alliance Church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Our school offers all children a respectful and stimulating Montessori learning environment that allows them to realize their unique, individual potential and prepares them for life-long learning.

MMS offers both half and full day Pre-school programs and a full day Kindergarten program. MMS is the ONLY Montessori school in Saskatoon offering a full Elementary program with both Lower Elementary (grades 1-3) and Upper Elementary (grades 4-8).

MMS is affiliated with the North American Montessori Teachers' Association (NAMTA) and member of International Montessori Council (IMC). MMS upholds that all our educators become credentialed with an International Montessori Teaching Diploma to ensure program integrity so your child receives authentic Montessori education.

Maria Montessori Preschool and Elementary, Inc. is an independent school registered under The Education Act, a registered charity and a non-profit corporation.

September 4, 2010 | SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS DUE FRI., SEPT. 10TH

Scholastic Book Club flyers and notices have been distributed. If you wish to purchase books, please fill out forms in full and submit payment by cheque only to your child's Directress or Miss Alyson. Orders are due by 3:30 p.m on Friday, September 10th.

August 30, 2010 | SCHOOL IN SESSION!

Classes for Elementary students begins today. Casa begins August 31st. Casa orientation is also today. MMS welcomes you to another new school year which is surely to bring new beginnings and learning opportunities for our students and families.

August 15, 2010 | 2010/2011 SCHOOL CALENDAR UPDATE

The School Calendar has been updated in the Parents section for the 2010/2011 school year. NOTE: MMS Office opens August 19th. Elementary classes begin August 30th. Casa parent orientations are also this day. Casa classes begin August 31st (staggered schedule). Every Thursday will be 2:30 p.m. dismissal for all students.

May 30, 2010 | FATHER'S DAY COFFEE TO GO, JUNE 18, 2010

The students will once again host a Father's Day Coffee to Go on June 18th at 9:30 a.m. Special dads, grandpas and uncles are invited to join your child for coffee and muffins on this day. Please talk to the Directress for further details.

April 18, 2010 | TIME CHANGE MOTHER'S DAY TEA, MAY 7, 2010

The students will once again host a Mother's Day Tea on May 7th. It is always a treat to see our students prepare something special for their moms on this day. Notices have gone out to advise of time changes in each classroom. Please talk to the Directress for details.
